One last Christmas post and then on to the next thing

I completely forgot to post this picture.

Here I am with my first three sisters at Christmas of 1962. At least by my figuring it is 1962.

Starting at the far left is me (with my hands in the air). My baby sister Linda, my year older than me sister, Barbara (holding the big doll), and my year younger than me sister, Kathy (I believe her doll is taking a nap)

Providing background, would be our TV, our super cool 60's pole lamp, our Christmas Tree, and my dad.

Oh, and playing a supporting background role, would be a plant and our old maroon chair.

I will assume that no explanation is necessary for the various toys scattered around.

What a fun picture!
How long did you spend doing all the colours and font variations????

You have to have your hands in the air when the jack jumps out of the box! How darling all you little girls are.

I love that picture. :)

I like all of the different colors too.

I would like a breakdown of all the toys.

After seeing this picture, it make me realize just how Brinkerhoff Alexandra and Lorelai look.

That looks like Alexandria with the sleeping doll!

I can't believe that 5 0'clock shadow your dad is sporting! Hard to belive that is the same man I knew. My how Brian and Mike take after their father!

Oh and you are all adorable too.

Who is the baby under the table with the feet up in the air?

I like this! I wish it got bigger when I clicked on it so I could take in all of the 1962 details!

I love it! Look at those baby dolls! I bet if y'all still had those dolls, they would be worth alot of money.

What a great photo! It's crazy how fast life whizzes by! I can so see your grandaughters in all of you girls!

i'm so used to seeing the past in black and white. how great to see a clear sharp color image from 1962. makes the past seem not so distant. this picture might have been taken last week if i didn't know otherwise.

Susan, you did manage to get first comment on my first post of 2010! Congratulations!! :) hehe!
And you're right, it is very difficult to say no to that sweet little face of Brogan's! (It's actually a dried fruit bar - not quite as exciting as a chocolate bar I'm afraid! But considerably healthier!!) Especially when he sticks out that little bottom lip and looks like his heart is just going to break!!

Bows are courtesy of Grandma. The outfit from me. Isn't she just stylin? and of course you can see how happy/excited/ecstatic Seth was to get his snuggie!!!
